Habitat Greenville’s Women Build project recruits, trains and empowers women to make a difference in their community by building simple, decent, healthy, affordable homes. Women Build volunteers from all walks of life come together to build stronger, safer communities. No experience in construction is necessary.
NEED
There are more than 23,000 families in Greenville County who need affordable housing. Many of these families live in
inadequate, unsafe rental housing and don’t qualify for a traditional mortgage. Habitat Greenville is one of the only affordable
homeownership options available to families in our community.
IMPACT
Women Build is a unique partnership of female community leaders and companies coming together to partner with a family in
need to help them build and purchase a home. An affordable, safe, energy-efficient home changes a family’s life, helping them
build strength, stability and self-reliance.
YOU CAN HELP THROUGH SPONSORSHIP
Habitat Greenville’s Women Build home will begin construction in the Fall of 2019. You, your group, church, or company is
invited to take part in this special project that will transform the future for a Greenville family. Our goal for the Women Build
home is to raise $70,000. Various levels of sponsorship are available. Your commitment is needed by September 15, 2019 to
meet deadlines for signage, t-shirts and other promotional materials. Please consider the greatest level of sponsorship
possible to help Greenville families in need of decent, affordable homes.

We encourage individuals, clubs, sororities, churches, and other non-profit groups to form a team! Each team leader will recruit 12 team members who raise $250 each through crowd funding. Each team receives the following benefits:
• Build partner will determine the number of days they will volunteer (up to 5)
• Name included on build site signage
• Participation in wall-raising ceremony and home dedication programs
